Most of the pubs and nightclubs in Gothenburg are imported but you are still able to find some of the old classical Gothenburg beer gardens.
Just on the other side of the street you've got 3 små rum(3 small room) who are famous for their big collection of beers. Czech, belgian and homemade.
Like this one, sjuans ölhall(the sevenths beerhouse). This beerhouse origin is from the 19:th century and most of the interiour is preserved. In the 19:th century you found many smaller pubs round Kungstorget but the restrictions in the beginning of 20:th century forced most of them to close. Here you are able to get an affordable pint and enjoy a classical pub from Gothenburgs 19:th century. Opening hours are mostly from 10:00 am to 01:00 in night. You'll find it on Kungstorget 7 close to Saluhallen. This small pub is actually described in wikipedia, Check it out here>>>.
Dubliner is one of these imported pubs. Now it is called irish embassy. Unfortunately they don't got their websites in order so I´m not linking their website. You'll see it on Jarntorget and Ostra Hamngatan in Gothenburg.
