Prehistoric village in Saivaara

Stoneage village in Saivaara .

People lived here 5000 years ago. The Baltic sea where some meters higher and the seashore where therefore at this point. To the left, about 2 km, the people up here have tried recover a stone age village. 3 km straight forward you'll see another recovery. Saivaara means received wrong or received a risk/danger/jeopardy in finnish. Maybe they offered a good fight in this village during the stoneage. This is now an association who are running the restoriation of an old stoneage village called Saivarra Stenåldersby(Saivaara stoneage village) and they´ve got a swedish homepage called saivaara.se.
